I graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Originally from the Battlefords, I spent every summer at a provincial park, which fostered my love of the outdoors and wildlife. Prior to graduation I spent time doing field research in Northern Saskatchewan with double crested cormorants and a took a zoological medicine course in Oregon, USA.
Exotic animal medicine is, not surprisingly, an area of interest to me as well diagnostic ultrasound and preventative health. I live with my husband and two children and enjoys my free time playing the piano, gardening and being outdoors.
