I graduated from the University of Regina in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. I’ve had a long history with the Albert North Veterinary Clinic starting as a receptionist in 2012. I continued to work at the clinic throughout my summers in vet school and officially became a doctor with the practice in 2017. I’ve always had an interest in animals and medicine, especially wellness and preventive medicine, surgery, dermatology, and pain management (including acupuncture).
My favourite part of my job is connecting with people and animals, including my incredible coworkers who have become family. I love that we can be a comfort to animals when they are stressed or fearful and be their voice when they can not speak.
In my spare time, I love to spend time with my 5 year old mixed breed rescue dog Mona, take pottery classes and tap dance.
