Dr. Tara Baker

I am a veterinarian at Albert North Veterinary Clinic. I have wanted to be a veterinarian since I was 13 years old. I have always loved animals. I loved spending time with them and trying to understand them better. I also love science and biology so being a veterinarian brought all those loves together. I attended the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. I graduated in 2000. I really like preventive medicine and speaking to owners about ways to keep their pets healthy. I also really enjoy dentistry. So many of the animals we see for dental procedures feel so much better a week or two after their dental procedure. Keeping their mouths healthy and pain free is very rewarding. I love helping pets stay healthy and helping owners take care of their pets. Albert North Veterinary Clinic has fantastic staff who all work together to take great care of the pets that come to see us. I love my job because I work with great people. Outside of my job at Albert North Veterinary Clinic I have a very busy family with multiple pets. My husband and I have two children, two dogs, one snake, one gecko and a bunch of fish. We have a very busy household.
